KATE'S SKATING CENTER AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

 Thank you for your interest in Kate's Afterschool Program. We are very excited to be able to offer such a wonderful afterschool program. Kate's Afterschool will provide your child with a supervised enviroment from the time we pick them up from school until 6:00 P.M. Our afterschool is for children in grades kindergarten through the fifth grade.

We will pick up children from the following schools:

• Indian Trail Elementary

• Sardis Elementary

• Hemby Bridge Elementary

• Porter Ridge Elementary

• Rocky River Elementary

• Stallings Elementary

• Sun Valley Elementary

• Poplin Elementary

Due to transportation we have limited spacing at each school.

 The children will recieve a wholesome snack and drink once they arrive to our facility. There will be a homework hour, scheduled activites and also free skate time for the children. There will also be a designated area for all afterschoolers to keep their skates, so they do not have to carry them to and from school.

Our goal is not to just supervise your children afterschool, but to provide them with a fun and safe learning enviroment. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us at 704-821-7465.

FINANCIAL POLICY

There is a $45.00 registration fee due at enrollment. This fee is non-refundable. If your child was currently enrolled in our 2009 summer camp program then this fee will be waived for you.

Our weekly session for afterschool is $60.00 per week and is due on Fridays for the upcoming week payable by Monday. This fee is due whether your child attends no days or five days. You get 2 weeks a school year for your child to miss and not have to pay. There will be a $20.00 late fee for any payments made after Monday of the week of attendance. We do not accept checks. A proper form of payment is cash and a Visa or Mastercard.

Kate's Afterschool ends at 6:00 P.M. each day. The late fee is $10.00 within the first 10 minutes and $1.00 for each additional minute afterwards.

TEACHER WORKDAYS AND HOLIDAYS

On teacher workdays and holidays we will be available from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M. For full week holidays the fee is $100.00 per week. When there is only one teacher workday in a week the cost for that additional day is $10.00. On these days your child may bring his or her lunch or can purchase a lunch for $2.00. Also on full days we offer two snacks and two drinks for that day. We will be closed on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and perhaps Labor Day.

Our first day of afterschool is on August 25th.

AFTERNOON PICKUP

Your child must be signed out by 6:00 P.M. each day. If your child is planning on attending session they will still need to be signed out by an authorized person. Please do not send an unauthorized person to pick up your child unless we have been notified or they are on the pick up list.

AFTERSCHOOLERS BELONGINGS

All items brought to afterschool should be labeled with the childs name on it. Kate's Skating Center will not be responsible for any items your child brings from home. Toys are not allowed unless approved in advanced!
